Tropical storm Fay

August 26, 2008 Tropical Storm Fay collided with Florida a record four times. The U.S. Hydrometeorological Prediction Center labels it one of the most prolific rainmakers in the state since 1950. It left behind more than 25 inches of rain across central and southern Florida, flooding more than 1,000 homes and killing at least 13.
